Sociedad Wesleyana

Sociedad Wesleyana (The Hispanic Wesleyan Society) is an international fellowship of professional scholars and lay persons united in the mission to advance theological education and Wesleyan scholarship among Hispanic/ Latino people for the purpose of renewing the church. Members gather semi-annually to discuss the impact of contemporary society on this mission. Regional chapters are now being formed. For information, contact Dr. Daniel F. LSPS Tri-Synodical Conference

The Lutheran Seminary Program in the Southwest (LSPS) sponsored a three-day conference January 25-27 in San Antonio. About 300 members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) attended this important conference. The interim executive director, the Rev. Dr. Javier Alanis reported that the conference was very well received and could serve as the basis for future events.
